The majority of the positions are offered through one of two departments, the Human Resources Employment office, or the Office of Equal Opportunity. Jobs posted by HRS are state jobs oriented towards the day to day maintenance of the university like maintenance, administrative, technology, and other positions. The Office of Equal Opportunity offers Administrative Professional and Academic Faculty positions. These positions include professors, instructors, and upper level administrators (vice presidents, deans, etc). Academic Faculty All personnel who carry academic rank (professor, associate professor, assistant professor, lecturer, instructor, faculty affiliate), and certain administrative officers. Administrative Professional Those individuals appointed by the Governing Board as officers of the Board, officers or directors of administrative departments, and all such professional assistants to these officials whose appointments are by Board action. Also included are the professional staff and assistants of the Experiment Station, Cooperative Extension Service, and the Colorado State Forest Service. Certain research positions directly related to the educational process also are included in this category. The Transfer/Reinstatement
Bulletin is updated weekly, typically by Thursday. Promotional Promotional opportunities are available to current Colorado State University State Classified employees and former employees who are currently on a Reemployment List (previously certified employee who was laid off for lack of work, lack of funds, or reorganization). Applicants need to complete a Job Application and whatever supplemental materials may be required. These materials are available at the Human Resource Employment Office. We cannot accept application materials via e-mail, and while faxed copies are acceptable, it is recommended that the originals be mailed under separate cover. Open Competitive Vacancies Colorado

be residents of the State of Colorado. For some positions, a polygraph,
a background investigation, or a pre-employment physical may be required.
