CSU Safety & Security

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires colleges and universities across the United States to disclose information about crime statistics and campus security policies and prevention programs. Published yearly, the Fire and Safety Update and University Drug/Alcohol Policy booklet informs the University Community about important procedures, policies, crime prevention programs and crime statistics. A copy of the booklet may be found online (http://police.colostate.edu/pdfs/2011-Safety-Report.pdf), or a paper copy can be requested by contacting the Colorado State University Police Department at (970) 491-1160.

Student Employment Services assists Colorado State University students in securing employment while they are in school. State Classified / Staff Employment

State Classified Employment now accepts applications online!

All permanent employees not included in the Academic Faculty or Administrative Professional groups above are members of the State Classified Personnel System. Colorado law requires that candidates for State Classified positions be residents of the State of Colorado. All personnel who carry academic rank (professor, associate professor, assistant professor, lecturer, instructor, faculty affiliate), and certain administrative officers. Administrative Professional

Those individuals appointed by the Governing Board as officers of the Board, officers or directors of administrative departments, and all such professional assistants to these officials whose appointments are by Board action. Also included are the professional staff and assistants of the Experiment Station, Cooperative Extension Service, and the Colorado State Forest Service. Certain research positions directly related to the educational process also are included in this category.
