|Description of Work Unit||
The Education Abroad unit is part of the Office of International Programs, headed by the Vice Provost for International Affairs. This unit strives to meet the diverse interests and needs of our stakeholders by offering a wide variety of Education Abroad programs, by ensuring exceptional quality of all programs, regardless of location, type, length or focus, and by adhering to a set of Core Values that shape and guide work.
The Core Values of the Education Abroad Office form the foundation upon which we develop and implement all of our programs and operations. Colorado State University is a public, land-grant institution of higher education. CSU offers academic programs through eight colleges. The University is located in Fort Collins, a city with a population of approximately 150,000 people, 65 miles north of Denver. The city offers a unique blend of metropolitan advantages and small town friendliness. Situated at the edge of the Great Plains and the base of the Rocky Mountain foothills, Fort Collins provides easy access to many cultural and recreational opportunities.
The half-time Education Abroad Coordinator is responsible for providing general education abroad advising, assisting with the registration of individual and group travelers on departmental initiated programs, and supporting risk management policies and protocols for international travel. This is a part-time appointment subject to review and reappointment. This position reports to the International Risk Manager and provides support and advises for Education Abroad and Risk Management.

1. Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, education, business, science, public administration, international/intercultural studies, or a related field

1. Master’s degree in a relevant field
