Position Summary

The International Studies Program is an interdisciplinary undergraduate major within the College of Liberal Arts engaging International Affairs, Geography, Political Science, History, Anthropology, Economics, Foreign Languages and Literatures, and other fields.

It hires temporary, part-time instructors from an applicant pool for fall, spring, and/or summer terms to teach core curriculum courses, including approaches to International Studies, research methods, and the International Studies capstone seminar.

Conditions of Employment
Required Job Qualifications

A master’s degree or ABD status in a related field is required.

Demonstrated knowledge of multiple world regions.

College level teaching experience.

Preferred Job Qualifications

Experience teaching courses related to Interdisciplinary Approaches.

A Ph.D. is preferred.

Ability to advance Department’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Commitment to diversity through teaching and outreach.
