Our faculty members’ philosophies and areas of expertise, along with the School’s core values, guide our pedagogical and inquiry practices, which are typically both interdisciplinary and applied.

Position Summary

The School of Education seeks applications between August 21, 2017 – June 30, 2018, from individuals who are interested in securing temporary instructor positions within the Student Affairs and Higher Education program for the 2017-2018 academic year. Instructors teach face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses in areas of their expertise and are hired periodically for fall, spring, and/or summer term, contingent upon enrollments and need. Reappointment may depend upon performance and the availability of funding. Conditions of Employment
Required Job Qualifications

• Earned masters degree in student affairs/higher education leadership or a related field

• Experience and demonstrated excellence in student affairs practice

• Formal or informal teaching experience in student affairs, higher education, or related areas

• At least three years of professional work experience in a higher education setting

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in student affairs/higher education leadership or a related field

• Experience teaching graduate students via face-to-face and distance technologies

• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and practice

• Record of scholarship and publication in student affairs, higher education, or a related field
